In preparation for this webinar, attendees are encouraged to review Training and Employment Guidance Letter (TEGL) 08-19 and the TEGL 08-19 Introductory Webcast series and bring questions about the contents of the guidance to the event.  TEGL 08-19, "Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I Training Provider Eligibility and State List of Eligible Training Providers (ETPs) and Programs" was published on January 2, 2020—replacing TEGL 41-14, Change 1—and provides guidance describing requirements relating to the eligibility provisions for the WIOA State list of Eligible Training Providers.  In this Part 1 of the ETP webinar series, staff from the U.S. DOL National office, U.S. DOL Regional offices, and state grantees will discuss a variety of topics relating to ETP Eligibility.

This webinar will cover the following topics:

  1. Summary of the structure and contents of TEGL 08-19
  2. Review of common challenges and highlights from ETP section of the 2020 state plan submissions
  3. Conversation on aligning ETP list, In-Demand Industries/Occupations, and Credentials
  4. Questions and Answers

Part 2 of the ETP Webinar series will focus on ETP performance reporting results and requirements.
