The Interagency Working Group on Youth programs has created a new page on youth.gov that has statistics about youth unemployment during COVID-19.
Youth.gov is a one-stop resource on youth to help federal grantees and other stakeholders find information about youth topics, implement evidence-based programs, locate programs and funding opportunities, and access other youth-related support.
- Youth.gov has developed a set of graphics to demonstrate the changes in employment and labor force participation among youth age 16 to 24 during COVID-19. Unemployment rates among youth ages 16 to 24 remain higher than among older age groups. We plan to update these numbers monthly.
- In response to COVID-19, YE4C has new youth-written content on Five Tips for Tackling Changes to Your School and Work Routine. Two young people also co-facilitated an Instagram Live on Relaxation Techniques for Navigating Stress.
