The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is engaging employers and their partners to improve youth employment opportunities by implementing demand-driven strategies that fit into a business' long-term growth through its "Making Youth Employment Work." 

Employing youth is not just the right thing to do; it is a smart business strategy.

The Center for Education and Workforce is bringing national attention to the challenge through the lens of employers. With youth unemployment at a historic high (nearly twice that of the national unemployment rate), increasing numbers of youth will have less work experience than ever before.
