Join NCEE and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for a webinar focused on findings from the sixth and final volume of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2018 results.
This latest volume—Are Students Ready to Thrive in an Interconnected World?—explores students’ ability to examine issues of local, global and cultural significance; understand and appreciate the perspectives and worldviews of others; engage in open, appropriate and effective interactions across cultures; and take action for collective well-being and sustainable development.
OECD Director for Education and Skills Andreas Schleicher and NCEE President and CEO Anthony Mackay will examine findings from Volume VI, which also explores students’ experiences of global and intercultural learning at school and beyond, and, though the U.S. did not participate in this portion of PISA, discuss implications of the report’s findings.
