On January 17, 2018, HUD announced that it will select up to 11 communities, at least 5 of which will be rural, to participate in the second round of the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP). The deadline for submissions is April 17, 2018 at 11:59:59 PM EST.

The goal of the YHDP is to support communities in the development and implementation of a coordinated community approach to preventing and ending youth homelessness, and to share that experience with and mobilize communities around the country toward the same end.

Please join United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) for a webinar on Thursday, February 22, at 3:00-4:30 PM ET, to learn more about the YHDP and strategies for success in responding to the NOFA.

For the second year in a row, HUD is providing communities the opportunity to develop and implement a coordinated community response to prevent and end youth homelessness.

Deputy Director Jasmine Hayes discusses why every community should consider applying for the funding opportunity.
