    Women are disproportionately affected by student loan debt. The American Association for University Women recently reported that 53% of women have high student loan debt just one year after graduation, compared to 39% of men. Many women also face the added difficulties of trying to go to college for the first time later in life, returning to school after long gaps of time, and attaining a degree while being a single parent.

    February 2017, Citi announced a global expansion of the Pathways to Progress initiative led by a Citi Foundation investment of $100 million to connect 500,000 young people, ages 16-24, to training and jobs over the next three years.

    Collaborative Mentoring Webinar Series is having a Webinar Thursday, March 16th. Group mentoring has become increasingly popular as the model’s many benefits gain recognition. Presenters will discuss mentor-to-mentee ratios, curriculum development, the flow of activities, and how to train, monitor and support program participants.
